Founded in 2005, the National Council of Unemployed Workers (NCUW) – Conseil national de chômeurs et chômeuses (CNC) – regroups organizations working to defend and promote the rights of unemployed workers. The NCUW demands the establishment of a fair, universal, unemployment insurance program, ensuring everyone respect and dignity by providing income support during periods of unemployment.
